With Touch Panel Control, the same monitor doubles as your DVD viewing 

screen and control panel. No more searching for a separate remote control 

or looking for buttons or knobs on another component. A quick glance at the 

easy-to-understand graphical user interface and simple touch of the screen 

puts you in total control of all functions from map scrolling to zoom control. 

DVD Receiver 

The true magic of DVD is not simply the outstanding visual quality, 

but how those images can be brought to life by a full 5.1 channel 

audio system. By enhancing your DVD receiver and system with 

optional components, you can transform your car into a theatre on 

wheels, complete with the breathtaking audio effects of Dolby Digital 

(AC3), dts and Dolby Pro Logic quality. Surround yourself with sound 

and the satisfaction of the full DVD experience.

Sound Processor & Center Speaker 

Adding optional units, your car can become a complete theatre on wheels. 

Hidden out of sight, KDS-P900 is a DSP unit that decodes 5.1 channel Dolby Digital 

(AC3), dts and Dolby Prologic. This black box gives you the capability to adjust listening 

position using digital time alignment controls on the front, rear, centre and subwoofer 

outputs independently. A digital crossover network is also integrated in the unit, enabling 

selection of a wide variety of combinations of high-pass or low-pass frequencies as well 

as cut-off slope. For 5.1 channel systems, KSC-900CTR is the ideal centre speaker unit, 

and comes fully equipped with a 20-watt power amplifier. 

DAB 

DAB is the future of radio. Using digital transmission from terrestrial transmitters, DAB not only 

delivers CD-quality sound to mobile and portable receivers free of interference from high congestion 

and multipath propagation, but also can carry text and graphic data. From real-time access 

from everything from traffic, weather and financial information to viewing of "Karaoke" lyrics and 

Internet content, DAB capability to receive simulcasts of high-volume multimedia content is 

bringing media convergence into your automobile. This 21st century “push” technology is already 

here, and conventional analog AM and FM will soon be history.
