Who is Megumi Fushiguro’s dad?

Megumi’s dad is Toji Fushiguro.

He was that strong buff guy who fought against Gojo and Geto when they were in high school.

Toji was actually born as Toji Zenin. He was formerly a part of the Zenin clan, but his family was not accepting of him at all because he was born without cursed energy (similar to Maki). However, due to being born without cursed energy, Toji had a Heavenly Restriction in which his body possessed incredible physical power. Because of this he easily defeated very powerful sorcerers such as Satoru Gojo and Suguru Geto.

At some point, Toji left the Zenin family and met his first wife. After the two got married, Toji took on her last name, Fushiguro. The unnamed wife and Toji had a child, and that child was Megumi, whose name means “blessings.” However, Megumi’s mom passed away. Toji sold Megumi to the Zenin family, knowing that Megumi had the potential to become a strong jujutsu sorcerer. Before his death, he mentioned this to Gojo. Gojo then interfered and took on Megumi.

Toji had a second unnamed wife and she was Tsumiki’s mother. This means Tsumiki Fushiguro is Megumi’s older step-sister.

Does Megumi know Toji?

Megumi barely has any memories of his father, and he doesn’t know that Gojo killed him.

We see in season 2 episode 16 that Megumi didn’t recognize who Toji was at all. His conversation with Toji before he stabbed himself was also confusing for him. Meanwhile, Toji recognized Megumi. He stabbed himself because he found satisfaction in learning Megumi’s name is Fushiguro and not Zenin. In a way, it shows that Toji did care for Megumi somehow.

How is Maki Zenin related to Megumi?

Maki Zenin is Megumi’s aunt.

In the jujutsu sorcerers’ fight against Dagon, Naobito Zenin recognized the reincarnated Toji and was very surprised to see him. Naobito is the uncle of Toji. He is also the uncle of the twins, Maki and Mai Zenin. This means that Toji is cousins with Maki and Mai.
