Hopkinsville Man Charged In Child Pornography Investigation

A Hopkinsville man was charged Tuesday after an investigation into child pornography led to a search of his home.

Hopkinsville Police say they searched the home of 27-year-old Michael Lefkowitz after the Hopkinsville Police Department Internet Crimes Against Children Unit determined he had inappropriate and explicit material that involved children.

He was arrested and charged with 17 counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor and 9 counts of possession or viewing of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor under 12.
