The chaps over at Cult of Mac will love this one: the acrylic casing of an old Apple Mac G4 Cube recycled as (what else) a fishtank. The lighting is provided by a USB Kensington FlyLight hooked up to a USB power adapter. Creator Ed Shepard reports:

"Last week I had the idea that the older G4 Mac Cube would make a great small fish tank. I asked around and saw that we had a broken one in Burlington. I then brought it to a local glass shop, where they custom cut a piece of 1/4 inch plexiglas for the bottom. I sealed this bottom piece to the rest of the tank with aquarium safe silicon, purchased at a local pet shop."

I have an old SEII out back that I had intended to make into a fishtank. Now this guy's gone and ruined it all: I must now procure a G4 Cube instead! Also: you know a Mac is history when it becomes fishtanked. Is this the final swansong (salmonsong?) for the much-loved Cube?
