SALT LAKE CITY, UT. (WIBW) - 4-seed Kansas men’s basketball had no answers for 5-seed Gonzaga in the second half, falling 89-68 in the Round of 32 on Saturday.

It was a competitive first half, as the two teams were neck-and-neck with multiple lead changes for the first 20 minutes. KU entered halftime with a 44-43 lead.

But in the second half, the Jayhawks fell apart offensively, going through multiple scoring droughts. They ended the game shooting 39% from the field compared to Gonzaga’s 60%.

Hunter Dickinson led the Jayhawks with 15 points and 5 rebounds, Dajuan Harris Jr. and KJ Adams Jr. both had 10 points.

The Jayhawks end their 2023-24 season with a 23-11 record.
