Easy to put together. A lot of reviews mention the waist is hard but the second set of instructions made it easier. The most difficult part was removing the direction alphabet stickers. An amazing piece to add to my Stranger Things collection!

Best money I've spent in a long time.

I personally don't see why people have been poorly reviewing these! I purchased 3 for my setup, and they weren't AMAZING quality but they are pretty good. I think if I had purchased at $400 I would've been disappointed but at $199.50 each they are great! The hops were not that bad to get together just took some trial and error, however I do set up hundreds of animatronics a year, so I have a bit of a leg up that way. The instructions were vague and in VERY small print, so small I had some trouble with it, and I rarely have any issues… boxes arrived beat up but but the items were perfect minus one gouge in one demogorgans leg. Will fit what I need!

Not as bad as others are saying!!

This thing is massive over 7 feet tall, easy to put together, animatronics are great and sounds it makes are very cool too.

More than expected

We absolutely love our demigorgon! My kids named her Barbara. The vibration sensor is amazing and goes off when heavier cars pass by our house. It took my 19 year old daughter about 1 hour to put it together by herself. We are so happy we got this and the neighborhood kids think it is super scary. We have had people stop and take pictures with Barbara.

I probably wouldn't pay what we did for it. 
The quality is less than. 
It's not as sturdy as other Halloween brands and building it was a pain as things did not line up at all so that was fun and took longer than necessary 
It will definitely need strapped or something bc it is flimsy and will fall down in slight breeze 
You can tell it's definitely not from other leading stores with other Halloween products but it's cool looking.

Arrived damaged. Awesome product. Don't want to take apart and send back. Hoping they can just replace the damaged part or two

Nice product, poorly handled

Looks great, but assembly is a literal pain in the rear. Hubby and I spent hours trying to get the hips attached. We used the extra “here's how to attach the hips” paperwork provided, we watched several assembly videos, we contacted Gemmy, but in the end we returned this item because our hips or upper legs appear to be defective and they don't have replacement parts available.

Truly sorry to return Dweebus the Demogorgon

I was super excited to finally get my hands on this and put it together for our front yard this Halloween and for many years to come. 
So excited that I was willing to look past some already minor defects I noticed taking the parts out of their plastic covers like paint being scratched off in certain areas. Also wasn't exactly thrilled that paint came off as I took off the part identification stickers, either, but again, was willing to look past it and touch it up later.

Instructions were easy to follow and didn't take long for me to get it together, but by the time I pieced it all together and was ready to try the animatronics….*drumroll*…..nothing. Upon further inspection, I realized that one of the two wires that were connected….was duct taped (see photos of duct taped vs non). Incredibly disappointed that I seemingly got someone's returned product that doesn't even work - especially considering the cost.

Received someone else's return that doesn't work

We have several of these large type of animatronics and this was the absolute worst in every way! It took 2 adults 45 minutes just to somewhat get the groin area together and it still was not right. None of the pieces fit together properly anyway on this guy, especially the legs. The head has visible screws. It came severely scratched and gouged. The sound the motor made was extremely loud. We were not impressed in the slightest by this.

Don't waste your money

Very excited to have him and finally had time to get him together to find many scuffs on the plastic along with scrapes, the two front and back plates for the hip area don't lock in well, the legs were deformed so they don't sit right. His arm also broke because of the cheap plastic that they used. Very mad that i paid full price for it to be very bad and it is now lower in price!
