Please allow me to direct your attention to Lily Allen, whose recent style pivot has been criminally under-appreciated. Allen has recently been starring as Katurian in a production of Martin McDonagh's play The Pillowman at the Duke of York's Theatre in London's West End, but her excellent post-show looks deserve just as much attention as her performance.

Allen has always had a strong sense of style, but her recent parade signals a new era for the singer and actor. She burst onto the scene in 2006 with her album Alright, Still, and has since become known for her bold looks: micro-bangs, technicolor hair, and door-knocker earrings are all classic 2000s favorites of hers. Over the last few years, she's continued to level up, swapping lace collars paired with jeans and sneakers for sleek, cohesive fits.

With her stylist Kyle De'Volle, Allen has been playing with color and texture while still curating a more refined, sophisticated wardrobe. In an effort that hasn't gone unnoticed, Allen ends The Pillowman coated in blood and exits the stage door in feminine dresses, floor-grazing skirts, and adorable matching sets. After all that, who could blame her if she just wanted to throw on some leggings and Uggs and call it a night? But as De'Volle wrote on Instagram, “I'll be watching Wimbledon men's final this afternoon but i think the weeks strongest serves go to @lilyallen.”

Below, see some of our favorite of Lily Allen's post-show looks.

In this full-fledged Y2K look, Allen stayed true to her fun, colorful roots while still keeping it understated. She wore camo cargo pants, a sparkly Clio Peppiatt top and bag, and purple Polly Pocket-esque peep-toe wedges.

Allen's blush silk dress was one of her chicest looks yet. With a boatneck, flutter sleeves, and a cinched waist, it was a technically gorgeous look. She completed it perfectly with a pair of nude pointy-toed heels and Garrard jewelry.

In a fabulous Vivienne Westwood moment, Allen rocked an off-the-shoulder black dress, as well as a black heart-shaped bag and choker, which both bear the late designer's signature orb. She completed the all-black outfit with Jimmy Choo heels.

Should we all be wearing more houndstooth? Allen certainly makes me think so. She left the West End theater in a Self-Portrait set, black tights, Christian Louboutins, and Nada Ghazal earrings.

In her Giorgio Armani silk trousers and open blouse, Allen proved that all-black doesn't equal boring.

Clearly a fan of monochrome, Allen wore a dramatic ruffled floor-length skirt and an embellished cardigan from London-based brand Needle & Thread.

Allen amplified her Alessandra Rich plaid skirt set with disco-ready Jimmy Choo platforms and large green quartz and zircon earrings from Anayah Jewellery. Laying across her hips was an eye-catching rhinestone belt with a cameo buckle.

In  a departure from the more pastoral toile looks, Allen opted for a highlighter yellow strapless maxi from Philosophy, jewelry from 886 by The Royal Mint, and strappy Jimmy Choos.

With a glittery lining and a strong shoulder, Allen's floor-length velvet Giorgio Armani coat is going straight to the winter wishlist.
