The 6 craziest quotes from that Anjelica Huston interview, from drug use to her Oprah beef

Anjelica Huston, seen here at the 2019 Vanity Fair Oscar party, dished on Oprah Winfrey, Bill Murray, Jack Nicholson and Ryan O'Neal in her conversation with Vulture.

Anjelica Huston isn't holding back.

In a wide-ranging interview with Vulture Wednesday to promote her new film "John Wick: Chapter 3 – Parabellum," the "Addams Family" star, 67, opened up about relationships, drug use and more.

Here are 6 of the craziest, most interesting quotes from the Q&A.

On drug use

Huston expounded on her current drug of choice (pot) and the difference between a good cocaine high and a bad one.

"I smoke weed, but I don’t consider that a danger to my health. I don’t like edibles. Too slow and you don’t know where it’s going. You could end up having to go to bed for three days," she said.

Huston said she doesn't do "anything wildly dangerous anymore" and cited her past experiences as the reason why.

"Bad cocaine makes you feel (terrible). Probably makes you run for the loo because it’s laced with laxatives," she explained. "Pure cocaine gives you a very light, airy, clear, and extremely pleasant feeling. But really, there’s no such thing as good cocaine. I don’t believe that people should take it recreationally."

On beating Oprah Winfrey

Huston claimed Oprah froze her out after she won the supporting-actress Oscar in 1986 for "Prizzi's Honor," beating out the "Color Purple" actress.

"She never had me on her show, ever. She won’t talk to me," she said. "The only encounter I’ve had with Oprah was when I was at a party for the Academy Awards, (at) a private residence. I was talking to Clint Eastwood, and she literally came between us with her back to me. So all of (a) sudden, I was confronted with the back of Oprah’s head."

On working with Bill Murray

"He was an (expletive) to me on 'Life Aquatic,' Huston said, recalling their on-set dynamic while making the 2004 Wes Anderson movie.

"The first week I was there, we were all in this little hotel, and he invited the entire cast to go and have dinner, except me," she recalled. "And everyone came down for dinner, a little dog-faced about my not being invited, and they were all like, 'Oh, you know, we don’t really want to go.' That was worse than anything."

On the allegations against Woody Allen and Jeffrey Tambor

Huston appeared to defend her past collaborators Woody Allen and Jeffrey Tambor, both of whom have faced allegations of sexual assault.

"Two states investigated him, and neither of them prosecuted him," she said of Allen, adding that she would work for him again "in a second."

As for Tambor, Huston said, "He certainly never said or did anything inappropriate with me," adding that things can be misinterpreted.

On her violent past with Ryan O'Neal

Huston said she thinks the actor, whom she dated in the past, was a psychopath.

"He head-butted me. He took my head in his hands and hit it with full force against his head because he couldn’t find me at a party," she told Vulture. "He’s a deeply disturbed – or at least was then; I can’t vouch for now, but I think he was – deeply disturbed person."

On Jack Nicholson's drug use

Huston also spoke about ex Nicholson, including his drug use.

"(He) never took overt amounts. He was never a guzzler. I think Jack sort of used it, probably like Freud did, in a rather smart way," she said. "Jack always had a bit of a problem with physical lethargy. He was tired, and I think probably, at a certain age, a little bump would cheer him up. Like espresso."
