How can I use these flascards?

These colourful flash cards are the ideal resource to visually introduce the beginning sound; y to learners. All the pictures in this set start with the letter!

It's a good idea to discuss each image first. After that, the pictures can be named and learners must say which sound the word begins with. When this starting sound is well captured, the picture cards can be mixed with other pictures and learners must distinguish and name the pictures that start with the focus sound. You can also use it for vocabulary expansion, sound association, recognizing sounds, naming sounds, flashcards, recording and revision.

When you download this resource, you will receive two sets of flashcards: one set has only the picture and the second set has the picture and word.
