The title and senbatsu members for AKB48's 58th single (September 29 release) have been revealed.
The group's first single in a year and a half will be titled "Ne mo Ha mo Rumor." It will be sung by 18 senbatsu members, and they are Onishi Momoka, Okada Nana, Okabe Rin, Oguri Yui, Kashiwagi Yuki, Kubo Satone, Kuranoo Narumi, Shitao Miu, Taniguchi Megu, Chiba Erii, Nishikawa Rei, Honda Hitomi, Mukaichi Mion, Muto Tomu, Murayama Yuiri, Yamauchi Mizuki, Yokoyama Yui (Team A), and Yokoyama Yui (Team 8 & Team K).
First-time senbatsu members are Taniguchi, Chiba, Nishikawa, and Yokoyama (Team 8 & Team K). Kashiwagi, who is currently taking a break from her activities, will be participating as well. Also selected was Honda, who recently returned to Japan after spending two and a half years in IZ*ONE. This is her second time in the senbatsu following the group's 54th single "NO WAY MAN."
As previously reported, members from AKB48's sister groups will not be participating in the title track nor coupling tracks for the upcoming single. This has not happened since their 19th single "Chance no Junban" was released in December of 2010.
