Fear not, your favourite 90s sitcom is staying on Netflix in 2019.
The panic started setting in after fans realised that there was less than a month to go until the supposed cutoff of the show leaving Netflix, seemingly forever, as the expiration date was January 1, 2019.
It was reported back in October that Warner Bros was going to pull Friends from all streaming services in 2019 because it plans to launch its own standalone service in the near future.
But this is NOT happening - well not in 2019 anyway.
There is also good news for Netflix users in the US, as the show is remaining there as well in 2019.
What has Netflix said about reports Friends was leaving their service?
Netflix took a very tongue in cheek approach to the rumours circulating Friends was leaving in 2019.
The service mimicked the structure of the show's episode titles and tweeted: "The One Where Friends is Going Nowhere, Don't Worry."
Then to reassure fans across the pond, Netflix US also tweeted: "The Holiday Armadillo has granted your wish: Friends will still be there for you in the US throughout 2019."
