Along with the likes of Kate Moss and Naomi Campbell, she was among the most famous models of the late 1980s and early 1990s.
In 2000, she portrayed painter Helen Frankenthaler in Ed Harris's film Pollock about the life and career of Jackson Pollock.
When did she marry Peter Brant?
Seymour married industrialist, magazine publisher, and art collector Peter Brant in 1995.
In 2009, Seymour filed for divorce after 14 years of marriage, but the couple reconciled the following year.
She was previously married to guitarist Tommy Andrews.
Aged 16, she also dated John Casablancas, the head of modelling agency Elite Model Management, then 42.
