City Girls are no strangers to trailblazing the best new trends, especially when they go full Y2K, and that’s exactly what JT has done with her latest manicure. NYC-based nail artist MEI, who has done sets for some of our favorite pop stars, shared a picture on Instagram of the latest nail art she did for the hip-hop star and we’re obsessed.
JT has always been a fan of glamorous and eye-catching nail looks from studs and sparkles to a fresh, clean, French manicure, but this time she decided to channel a trip to the beach with a seashell inspired look. She didn’t go for her usual style though. We’re used to seeing JT in a much longer set of nails, but it looks like she opted for a shorter set to start off the new year. New year, new JT?
Her nails may be shorter this year but that doesn’t mean she compromised on glam. The texture of her manicure set reflects that of a seashell lying on the shore and not only do her nails sparkle iridescently to mimic the way seashells sparkle on the beach, but there are beautiful pearl details to complete the beachy look.
