Super Bowl prop bets 2016: Gary Kubiak gets orange Gatorade shower

Orange has been the color of the Gatorade dumped on the head of the winning coach in four of the last seven Super Bowls.

Cary Edmondson-USA TODAY Sports

Orange Gatorade was dumped on the head of Denver Broncos head coach Gary Kubiak after Super Bowl 50, making those that bet on the favorite the winners in the prop bet for the postgame Gatorade shower.

While orange was the winning color in just one of the last four years, it was +125 on Bovada with green and purple as the heavy underdogs at +1,000. The full odds for the Gatorade shower on Bovada were as follows:

Orange +125
Blue +300
Clear +400
Yellow +400
Red +600
Green +1,000
Purple +1,000

The win for the +125, means that a $100 bet returns an additional $125.

Since Super Bowl XXXV, orange has been the winner just four times now after Super Bowl 50, although it was the color in three of the last seven, according to OddsShark. Orange was the favorite last year in Super Bowl XLIX, but the New England Patriots sprung the upset by dumping blue Gatorade on the head of Bill Belichick.
