Fanny

Jock Sturges: Fanny; Montalivet, France, 1996, archival pigment ink print

Photo-eye Gallery, 541 S. Guadalupe St., 505-988-5159

For more than 20 years Jock Sturges has made Fanny the subject of a series of photographs, taking her portrait as she transitioned from girlhood to adulthood as a naturist. The exhibition Fanny spans the time he spent working with her and celebrates the release of a monograph of the same name published by Steidl in February. The show opens with a 5 p.m. reception on Friday, April 10.
