Bob Miller indieWire Thankfully, the Japanese continue to make traditional hand-drawn animation, digitized in color and partially- enhanced with CG. With Battle of Gods, it's a seamless blend, and entertains as any CG-animated film. Mar 8, 2019 Full Review Charles Solomon Los Angeles Times "Battle of Gods" delivers not only the familiar look but also the slapstick comedy, character interaction and over-the-top martial arts fights that "Dragon Ball" fans want and expect. Aug 7, 2014 Full Review Leah B. Jackson IGN Movies The fight scenes in Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods are tremendous. Each punch and kick has a great sense of power behind it, and the way the camera swerves and glides in new 3D angles makes each battle exhilarating. Rated: 7.5/10 Mar 8, 2019 Full Review Rob Bricken io9.com Even if you enjoy this bizarre deconstruction of one of the world's most popular anime, you still have to sit through a great deal of nonsense to get there. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Jack O'Regan Screen Rant Obviously the action is flawless, lending itself impeccably to the modern animation style, and it certainly doesn't hurt that the film is canon. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Octavio Karbank CBR For all its little hiccups, it was a perfect return to the franchise. In the nearly two decades since DBZ ended, animation had improved drastically, leading to flawless-looking fight sequences. Mar 7, 2019 Full Review Read all reviews

Ryan S FILME MUITO DIVERTIDO ANIMAÇÃO EXELENTE BILLS E UM PERSONAGEN INCRÍVEL E UM ANTAGONISTA MELHOR AINDA 9/10 Rated 4 out of 5 stars 04/08/24 Full Review pegasus363 u The movie was quite illusory; it set high expectations at the time, and completely undermined everything established by Dragon Ball and Akira Toriyama. This film only brought me to tears during its credits, not for its content, but because the credits rolled scenes from all of Dragon Ball and Z, triggering a wave of nostalgia so intense, I couldn't help but shed a tear. It seems this movie was made for nostalgia-seekers and the older generation. As a Dragon Ball fan, I went to see it and was met with a huge disappointment due to its lackluster new plot and poor script. However, this is purely a reflection of my nostalgia, nothing more to add.
