JESSICA ORTIZ, MA

Jessica Ortiz, LMHCA

Jessica received her Master's degree in Clinical Counseling from LaSalle University in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.  For almost a decade, Jessica has been working with - and advocating for - clients who have struggled with trauma, substance abuse, mental health and behavioral issues.  Additionally, as a bilingual therapist, Jessica has spent a significant part of her career working with marginalized and/or under-served populations to help them receive the care, support and resources that they need and deserve in order to thrive.

Jessica believes that every client should be treated with dignity, respect and unconditional positive regard and no matter what clients are experiencing, her office is a "judgment free zone".

Jessica utilizes a number of therapeutic modalities to help her clients achieve their goals. She has extensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Solution Oriented Therapy - however, regardless of what approach she utilizes, she believes that her most important goal is to provide clients with the tools, hope and ability to achieve their goals.

Prior to working in the behavioral health/mental health field, Jessica worked as a Sales and Project Manager executive for various corporations for over 25 years.  Wanting to make a difference and be of service to others, Jessica changed careers and states that it has been the best decision of her life.
