Bulbine mesembryanthoides is native to Northern Cape, Western Cape.

Bulbine mesembryanthoides has rosulate fleshy leaves that are buried almost completely during drought, but it has very swollen leaves.

leaves are ovate-lanceolate, erect, unequal, apex acute, and concave, yellowish-green, to pinkish-grey.Flowers star-shaped, golden-yellow.
