Takuya serves industrial clients including automotive and heavy machinery OEMs, automotive suppliers, and electric power companies to support their corporate-wide transformations. His expertise ranges from corporate growth strategy design to operational improvement and new business development.

Recent examples of his client work include the following:

  • leading global cost reduction on direct material for an automotive client. Supported the client’s end-to-end cost transformation and improved procurement efficiencies
  • supporting the establishment of a new global R&D and procurement organization
  • leading the development of a new business for an automotive OEM, from zero-based fact findings and idea generation to its launch in South Asia.
  • creating a comprehensive cost-reduction program for an electric power company, leading to around $100 million in cost savings and a transformation in organizational design.

Outside his client work, Takuya devotes his time to recruiting and people development. He currently leads our All-In diversity efforts for the Operations Practice in Asia and Japan.
