What is Fusuma-Cloth ?

“Fusuma-Cloth” is used as a material cloth in Japanese door. It opens and shuts from side to side.
It was used since ancient times. Along with Tatami mats and Shoji, Fusuma doors are typical traditional Japanese room architecture. It is a door covered with sheets brilliantly painted by famous artists.

Due to modern technology Fusuma doors are now gradually declining. However, to preserve its uniqueness and tradition we continue to find it’ s use by manufacturing innovative products.
