CONCACAF Gold Cup Final will have Mexico and Panama as the Mexican National Soccer Team wants to regain its dominance and demonstrate why it has the nickname of the "CONCACAF Giant", which it will seek this Sunday at SoFi Stadium when playing the final of the 2023 Gold Cup against Panama.

Panama is playing in its third Golden Cup final and has never won the tournament and it is no easy feat since the Mexican National Team has dominated the competition and has won eleven titles.
El Tri and Panama met last month in the duel for third place in the Nations League with Mexico winning 1-0 with an early goal by Jesús Gallardo, while in their last Gold Cup history, in 2015 Mexico won with controversy with two non-existent penalties, both scored by Andrés Guardado, the first to force overtime and the second that defined the entry to the final.
