Undefeated female boxing champion Claressa "GWOAT" Shields went viral this week over a five-year-old video of her getting knocked out by male boxer Arturs Ahmetovs and she is loving all the attention.

Shields, 28, claimed Ahtemovs "wore gloves with no padding" because he was mad that she had beat him earlier in the week during another sparring session. The female boxing champion is known for training with men, which is still part of her day-to-day despite the five-year-old incident.

"I have no problem getting caught in sparring it happens and I sparr majority men! But this dude Arthur and his coach Derrick Santos were embarrassed and next time we sparred he purposely wore gloves with no little to no padding, I can't make this up. I couldn't believe it," Shields tweeted.

Shields also claimed that she continued sparring another man after getting knocked down during the 2018 training session.

Arturs Ahmetovs' 15 minutes of fame

When Ahmetovs leaked the video of him knocking down Shields, he captioned the post with a message for Shields, which actually proves she is telling the truth.

"It's nice that you remember me Claressa Shields," he wrote. "If you think that I dishonored you, as an honest person. I'm ready to merry."

His smugness and her nonchalance when it comes to the situation is proof that he is only looking for 15 minutes of fame.
