Although the Polynesian ukulele is inspired by the Hawaiian ukulele, it has the particularity of having its body and neck worked as a single piece even if it is sometimes assembled from several mixed woods. This allows Artists to create custom engravements. With its strings made of colored fishing lines, it is a popular rhythmic instrument in French Polynesia.
