Red carpet fashion is always a spectacle, but the Barbie premiere red carpet fashion was so good that we almost took a personal day just to bask in the Barbiecore of it all. Not only did the cast show up and show out, but every A-lister who attended clearly knew the stakes were high. While the Barbie movie, which currently has a 100% score on Rotten Tomatoes, is about more than playing dress-up, every premiere attendee knew that bringing their fashion A-game was mandatory. Read on to see the top 10 red carpet looks from the Barbie movie premiere — because it's a Barbie world and we're all just living in it.

Margot Robbie in Schiaparelli Haute Couture

Having drooled over Robbie's Barbie press tour looks, we knew the star and her stylist, Andrew Mukamal, would deliver something for the L.A. premiere, and they did not disappoint. While many of Robbie's recent 'fits have paid homage to Barbie dolls, Mukamal outdid himself with this one. Robbie's custom Schiaparelli Haute Couture gown and opera gloves, Lorraine Schwartz jewelry, and Manolo Blahnik peep-toe heels are an extravagant high-fashion replication of Mattell's 1960 "Solo in the Spotlight" Barbie. We're literally speechless.

Issa Rae in Marc Bouwer

Issa Rae understood the assignment. We're especially enamored with the larger-than-life bow on her velvet Marc Bouwer gown. That said, her accessories, from her dangling earrings and diamond tennis bracelet to her glittering rings and hot pink clutch, were nothing to scoff at.

Ava Max in Mônot

Ava Max's powder blue ensemble definitely delivered Barbie in spirit, even though it lacked the doll's signature shade. Styled by Molly Dickson, Max's look was both modern and retro all at once in her beaded custom Mônot maxi skirt and bra set, crystal sunnies, and opera gloves.

Shay Mitchell in Shushutong

Perhaps taking a page from Robbie's vintage Barbie homage styling, Shay Mitchell wore a darling Shushutong mini dress with strappy sandals and a shiny black micro bag. Her styling, from her sleek headband to her delicate stud earrings and tennis bracelet, was absolutely doll-like without veering too twee.

Dua Lipa in Bottega Veneta

Dua Lipa loves a little sparkle as evidenced by her Tiffany & Co. jewelry and custom Bottega Veneta gown that was, more or less, hundreds of rhinestones knit together. Yes, it was see-through, no she was not fazed by being nearly naked on the red carpet, and yes, we're living for it.

Ryan Gosling in Gucci

Gosling's pink Gucci suit is impeccable, but TBH he's on our list because of the Barbie font "E" necklace he wore in honor of his wife, Eva Mendes. Ken really is a devoted partner. You love to see it.

America Ferrera in St. John

We loved all the vintage silhouettes on the Barbie premiere red carpet, but America Ferrera was serving old Hollywood with a modern twist. Her custom St. John look had the formal elegance of a gown with the freshness of a two-piece matching set, and her pale pink Irene Neuwirth jewelry was playful, but effortlessly elevated.

Ariana Greenblatt in Yogie Pratama

The peplum made entirely of larger-than-life rosettes on Ariana Greenblatt's Yogie Pratama gown were enough to land her a spot on our list of best-dressed celebs. But, as the kids say, "Wait! There's more!" There was also the soft pink of the gown's satin bodice, the subtle sheerness of its skirt, and that train. From top to bottom, it's 10 out of 10. No notes.

Dove Cameron in Ellie Misner

In her strapless soft pink and black Ellie Misner gown, Cameron could have easily passed for Goth Princess Barbie, if such a doll existed. (It doesn't. We checked.) Not only does the gown fit like a glove, but it's refreshing to see a celeb stick to their own aesthetic while still wearing a 'fit that's theme-adjacent.

Any Gabrielly in Priscavera

We found ourselves smitten with Gabrielly's Priscavera hot pink lace-up skirt and matching button-down. The vibe was fresh, the styling — from her heart earrings to her rhinestone-studded ankle strap stacked heels — was fun, and, best of all, it's a Barbicore look that could be worn off the red carpet as well.
