After her funeral, Hiroshi sorrowfully returns home, and Kana, who has been beaten by her boyfriend after telling him she was pregnant, turns up at his apartment asking for help. To protect her, Hiroshi uses his skill at portraying dead bodies to deceive her boyfriend.

A gentle comedy-drama where the simple concept of human connections is wonderfully explored by an enjoyably egomaniacal leading man who undergoes an effective character arc of learning humility, its message of just being present for others resonates more in an era of separation due to SNS and Covid-19.
