I started this series hoping it would have some decent plot with a veterinarian and fantasy animals but alas. I got to the second book when they started talking about owning people and doing your duty to sleep with some young girl. The book gets the main character drunk and they refuse to sleep with the underage girl. Other character forces their way into his room to scream at him that sleeping with the girl was expected of him.
