This volume of Daimao concerns Akuto and company being trapped in an Isekai game world by a game loving / 4D specialist named Yoshie Kita, and her employer, the Lyradon controller in 2Volts. We're getting back to the heart of the story a bit, although, the other worldly nature of the Isekai setting kind of makes this volume feel more superfluous than it should (the threat of characters dying in the game is never really realized since if our heroes defeat them, they just poof and zoom back to reality).
But there was enough enticing stuff in the volume for me not to rate this one too low, particularly us getting closer to an understanding of who 2Volts is, her goal, and hopefully a conclusion to her arc. We also meet a new friendly character in Yoshie who may be Akuto's match intellectually, and who is very friendly with Junko, which was nice to see (a lot of the female characters so far feel like they're working against each other, only teaming up to help Akuto, so it's nice to have actual friendships forming).
This volume was one of the longest in this series (so far). But it was not one of the best. It was mediocre at the best. The plot only progressed with the stupidity of the characters like Keena and Lily. Also apparently now since the beginning of the SAO hype, every author has to put some virtualworldesque type of chapter/volume.
