Trooping the Color is an annual celebration held in London on the second Saturday of June, that publicly commemorates Queen Elizabeth's official birthday (her actual date of birth is in April.) And for us Yanks across the pond, it's another occasion to take in royal pageantry, which, considering how incredible Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's recent wedding was, couldn't come too soon.

All of our faves were present on Saturday for the celebrations: Meghan, looking great in a protocol-breaking pink dress, and Harry were there—both fresh off their honeymoon. So was Prince William and Kate Middleton, with George and Charlotte in tow. Also showing up for the day? Prince Charles and Camilla, Duchess of Cornwall—and of course, Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip. (We were hoping for a baby Louis sighting, but, alas, he did not make his balcony debut this year.)

Here are the best royal moments from the celebration.

1. Meghan and Harry are back and still crazy in love.

Will we ever tire of seeing these two looking seriously in love while riding in horse drawn carriages? Probably not.

2. Shenanigans among the littlest royals.

In what will likely be the GIF of the day, Savannah Phillips is seen covering her cousin Prince George's mouth (what was he saying?). Just look at that no-nonsense face of hers.

Also, it looks like Charlotte got a little talking to from her mom, while her Uncle Harry and Aunt Meghan whispered to each other in the background.

But, all in all, it looks like a good time was had by all.

3. There was an RAF flyover that made for a great photo op.

After the family gathered on the balcony, the Royal Air Force conducted a military flyover as a salute to the queen.

We can't wait to see the family come together again later this summer for Prince Louis' christening—and you can be there will be a few dispatches from the royal occasion.
