Juventus’ Kenan Yıldız after goal against Frosinone: “I’ve always watched Zidane, Del Piero and Messi”

Juventus youngster Kenan Yıldız has revealed some of his role models after the club’s 2-1 win over Frosinone.

The Turkey international found the back of the net against Frosinone in the first half and it was his first goal in the the Bianconeri, with the youngster linked with a potential exit in January. Dusan Vlahovic scored on the other side of a Jaime Baez equaliser to hand Juve all three points.

Juve closed the gap on Inter because of the win and Yildiz spoke to DAZN (via TMW) after the game and he spoke about his role models and what the goal means to him.

“I have several, not just one. I’ve always watched Zidane, Del Piero, Messi.”

The youngster revealed ‘great joy’ at scoring for the club and playing a part in the win, saying:  “For me it’s too great a joy, I still can’t get over it this. I thank everyone. Allegri is a great coach for me, I owe him a lot. When he told me to cut my hair I did it immediately because he is the boss and I thank him again for the opportunity. Celebration? Inspired by Del Piero , a Juventus legend.”

Yildiz was also asked about how it felt when he got to know that he would start today and he stated: “He told me yesterday after the Chiesa problem, then he confirmed it to me and I was a bit shocked when he told me.”
