RAF successfully completes ninth air drop of 11 tonnes of essential aid to Gaza
The Royal Air Force has dropped another consignment of humanitarian aid supplies into Gaza in its ninth air drop since the beginning of the conflict with Israel.
Eleven tonnes of lifesaving supplies were flown to Gaza and dropped over populated areas.
The latest air drop comes 48 hours after a similar operation was carried out by US Central Command and the Royal Jordanian Air Force, who dropped vital humanitarian aid to northern Gaza.
The RAF wrote on social media: "Today, the UK conducted its 9th airdrop of humanitarian aid for Gaza.
"The Royal Air Force delivered more than 11 tonnes of lifesaving supplies.
"We're continuing to step up deliveries of aid by land and air to the people of Gaza who are in need of our support."
