Juventus were indebted to Dusan Vlahovic as the Serbian forward netted a fine late header to secure his side all three Serie A points at Frosinone. 18-year-old Kenan Yildiz had opened the scoring for Max Allegri’s side with a terrific dribble and finish on his first-ever start for the club, before Jaime Baez levelled for the hosts. Juve are one point behind leaders Inter having played a game more.

Teenager Kenan Yildiz netted on his first start and Dusan Vlahovic scored late on as Juventus beat Frosinone 2-1 in Serie A to return to winning ways.
The Bianconeri handed 18-year-old Yildiz his place in the starting line-up due to their long injury list and the Turkey international opened the scoring when he squeezed past three players in the box before firing the ball into the bottom corner at the near post.
And Max Allegri's injury list grew when Sandro went off in the first half with a suspected thigh problem while Pol Lirola went off with an injury for the home side and was replaced by Jaime Baez.
Juve made a bright start to the second half but Frosinone equalised when Baez ran onto Ilario Monterisi's long ball and cut inside to score.
That sparked The Old Lady into a triple change with Manuel Locatelli among those going off with an injury.
Juve created the better chances in the latter stages and snatched victory nine minutes from time when Vlahovic headed in Weston McKennie's cross.
The result sees The Bianconeri remain second in the table and close the gap on leaders Inter Milan to a point, while Frosinone slip to 14th position.

TALKING POINT

Kenan Yildiz's instant impact.
The teenager was put into the line-up due to the injuries to Federico Chiesa, Moise Kean and Mattia De Sciglio with Dusan Vlahovic not fit enough to start.
There has been plenty of hype around the 18-year-old with his performances at youth level and he showed he is ready for the big time with his brilliant solo goal. He was unfortunate to be brought off after 54 minutes but the changes Allegri made worked out.

PLAYER OF THE MATCH

Weston McKennie (Juventus): The American international was a constant throughout with his pace and crossing. He nearly scored one of the goals of the season with a bicycle kick that rattled the crossbar and he set up Vlahovic's winner.
