Seem like a dry plant

Response from Julie Choi

Hi Tamara! Thank you for your purchase and review. Yucca baccata is a desert plant that is drought-tolerant and should not be overwatered, which is why it may seem dry. The leaves are also relatively inflexible and spiky, which could also be contributing to the perception of dryness. The pup was also allowed to callous over at the cutting site to ensure that no rot or fungus occurred at the cutting site during transit. The pup should still be good to go to put in a pot with cactus soil and watered so that it can begin rooting! Please feel free to message me if you have any concerns.

The trees arrived today and one had fallen out of its cloth container and was completely wilted. The other was still in container but wilted as well. I potted and watered them right away to try and give them a chance, we'll see if they can bounce back.

Started germinating in less than 12 hours. I’m sure they’ll grow nice and strong it’s up to the buyer to make sure the soils and conditions are right!!
