Cephalophyllum sp.

Cephalophyllum sp. is a very aggressive species that is cold hardy to around 0F or more. However this species is very aggressive and can make huge mats. This is why this species is cold hardy because it gets so large its hard to kill, expect some serious damage every year but the aggressiveness of this species is more than the cold can take. I make hanging baskets out of these and they really grow. The flower from March-October. Plants shipped in pots.
 
I do not guarantee these in a zone 5/6/7 because everyones growing conditions are different but this would be a good trial plant to grow in your cold outdoor garden. Try to plant outdoor 90 days before 1st hard freeze.
