They are two of the most recognisable acts in Britain's Got Talent history, and now Susan Boyle and Paul Potts will finally go head-to-head.

The pair have both made it through to the America's Got Talent: The Champions final, and will battle it out along with a few other contestants to be crowned the winner.

Paul secured his place after topping the public vote last night (January 21), while Susan was fast-tracked after earning Mel B's Golden Buzzer a few weeks ago.

"I just want to say what an absolute honour and pleasure it is to be sitting here and listening to you, your angelic voice, and I want to be the woman who gives you something you deserve," the Spice Girl said at the time.

If the Paul wins, it will be the second time that he has won Got Talent after he triumphed on the first series of BGT, while it would be a first win for Susan, who was runner-up on the third.

Also through to the The Champions finals are Angelica Hale, Preacher Lawson, Deadly Games and Cristina Ramos.

Another notable BGT act who took part in the new series is Ashleigh Butler, who famously won the original show with her dog Pudsey.

However, she took on the new series with another dog, Sully after Pudsey sadly passed away in 2017. While the duo impressed the judges, it was not enough as they failed to secure enough public votes to earn a place in the next round of The Champions.

America's Got Talent: The Champions airs on NBC in the US, with Netflix airing the show in the UK.
