Hugh and Michael have been friends for over 25 years, with the Aussie icon reportedly even taking up best man duties at his wedding to Zoe Bingley-Pullen in 2007.
That same year the pair took their friendship to a professional level as Mike helped whip Hugh into the best shape of his life before shooting Wolverine, the Herald Sun previously reported.

'There are very few days when he's not on his A-game,' Michael added.
