Taking to Instagram earlier in the day, Sadie shared some throwback pictures of a trip to Barcelona after jetting out to Spain for the European premiere of Quant.

The star, who directed the documentary, could be seen striking a number of poses as she enjoyed herself at a rooftop bar.

She wore a brightly coloured two piece with a zig-zag pattern across both the top and trousers.

She captioned her post: 'Making some shapes and singing from the roof tops in Barcelona for the European premiere of @maryquantfilm @moritzfeeddog.. wearing my new fav outfit @thecharlottesparre and a pink hat I picked up from @casabonay .. @goldfinchuk @bencharlesedwards @kbbluebell.'

Quant chronicles the life of 1960s fashion designer Mary Quant and went in to production in January 2020, eventually being released at the end of 2021.

Sadie recently told Variety of her struggle to film during the pandemic: 'We lost a lot of our older interviewees in the end because of COVID.

'I was like, "I'm never going to be able to ever get that dream line-up ever again."'

Admitting at one point she thought the picture would never be finished, she said, 'Every time the lockdown restrictions lifted, I'd have to rush over to see somebody with a microphone.'
