As the Buccaneers get ready to play the Carolina Panthers on Sunday, we here at Bucs Nation are ready to drop some predictions for Week 13.

Tampa Bay is currently a 5-point favorite via DraftKings Sportsbook. Our staff weighs in with their predictions for the Bucs game and picks for the rest of the NFL’s Week 13 games.

Staff Predictions

Gil Arcia: Junior Time

This is a game that has Antoine Winfield, Jr.’s name written all over it. Carolina’s offense is all over the place and Winfield will be all over the field. Look for the kid to record one INT and two sacks with double digit tackles.

James Yarcho: Rachaad Rolls On

After a 100 yard performance against the Indianapolis Colts, the Bucs are taking on the Carolina Panthers defense that has allowed over 120 rushing yards per game. In addition to getting his short targets from Mayfield, White is going to pass the century mark for the second straight week while getting into the end zone once

Mike Kiwak: Kancey’s coming-out party

Rookie first-rounder Calijah Kancey just became the first Bucs defensive tackle to win a NFL defensive rookie of the month honor thanks to his excellent performance throughout November (10 tackles, 7 of which went for a loss, 4 quarterback hits, 2.0 sacks and 1 pass defensed). He’s scorching hot coming into a game against the league’s worst offensive line, as Carolina has shuffled through seven different guard combinations and six different starters. Put Kancey down for at least 3 pressures and 2 sacks as he shows why he earned his award.

Will Walsh: Don't worry it hasn't "snowballed" and it certainly won't this week.

One of the more interesting quotes of the week was Bucs' head coach Todd Bowles saying he doesn't believe that the losses for Tampa have snowballed (3-1—4-7). Ironically, Bowles then preceded to list out a number of ways the 2023 season has, in fact, snowballed out of control. The Bucs will be back home this week and there should be no chance of anyone seeing snowballs in Tampa Bay. Sunday afternoon, Tampa's embattled head coach will be lucky to have meteorology on his side. The Bucs are a team in turmoil, but they are playing a franchise in disarray— Tampa wins, in similar fashion to the Titans' game 23-10.
