2019 NBA Draft: How To Watch, Listen & Stream

The 2019 NBA Draft is tonight. Here’s how to watch, listen and stream it.

NBA: NBA Draft Brad Penner-USA TODAY Sports

The 2019 NBA Draft kicks off tonight at 4 pm PT on ESPN.

The UCLA Bruins have three guys—all underclassmen—who have entered their names into this year’s draft. Will any of them be selected tonight?

Of the three, Kris Wilkes seems like the most likely to be chosen, but Moses Brown and Jaylen Hands could also hear their names called.

There has been some confusion regarding NCAA rule changes which were put into place last year. It’s true that the NCAA changed their rules to read: “College basketball players who request an Undergraduate Advisory Committee evaluation, participate in the NBA combine and aren’t drafted can return to school as long as they notify their athletics director of their intent by 5 p.m. the Monday after the draft.” The rule change was contingent on the NBA changing their rule which allows a player who is eligible for the draft, but who goes undrafted, to be called up to the NBA at any point during the following year.

The reason for the contingency is simple. Colleges don’t want undrafted players to be able to be called up to the NBA midseason and hurting the school he returned to.

So, the three Bruins who have declared for tonight’s draft will not be able to return to Westwood if they go undrafted tonight.

This year’s draft is again being held at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY and ESPN will be covering it all.

SiriusXM will also have coverage on ESPNU Radio as well as the SiriusXM NBA Radio channel.

That’s important to know, especially for today’s first round. Here on the West Coast, the Draft starts at 4 pm PT. Many of us in the Pacific time zone will still be at work when the draft start. So, if you have Sirius or XM in your car you can listen to their draft coverage during your commute home.

Of course, this is the best place to keep tabs on what’s going on with the Draft today.

So, contribute your thoughts below and join your fellow UCLA fans as we watch these Bruins attempt to move on to the next level.

This is your 2019 NBA Draft Open Thread.

Go Bruins!!!
