One wedding wasn't enough for Jillian Michaels and DeShanna Marie Minuto! The fitness trainer and the fashion designer got married for a third time at the Aman hotel in Venice, Italy, People reports. The couple hosted a three-day extravaganza, which Michaels said was entirely planned by Minuto. “DeShanna comes from a very big Italian family, and it’s her favorite country in the world,” Michaels says. The party began on June 23, 2023, with a sunset welcome dinner at the Belmond Cipriani. According to the outlet, mahogany Venetian boats took guests to the venue, where they dined on a three-course meal of tomato steak salad with samphire and pumpkin seed sauce, ricotta and spinach mezzelune with aged parmesan, scallops with pistachio sauce, and potato purée. For the festivities, both brides stunned in Dolce & Gabbana.

The following day, on June 24, 2023, the couple hosted an intimate ceremony, which was planned with the help of Design Anarchy Studio. Michaels walked down the aisle in a beaded black dress with sheer sleeves by Zuhair Murad. Minuto also sported a piece by the Lebanese fashion designer: a long-sleeved mermaid gown with an illusion neckline, asymmetrical beadwork, and a faille overskirt. People notes that the garment took more than one year to create. At the altar, the duo recited personal promises in front of their 50 guests, and Michaels said she got emotional. “I didn’t think I was going to cry!” she exclaims. During the service, the fitness guru also surprised her wife with a seven-carat emerald-cut ring with diamond baguettes.

After they were pronounced married a third time, the couple and their guests continued the celebration with a cocktail hour in the hotel’s garden, which was filled with Aperol spritzes and passed appetizers. The reception in the palace followed. Loved ones ate tuna tartare, paccheri cacio e pepe, and filet with courgettes cream, saffron, and Amarone reduction by candlelight, People reports. Each table was covered in dark and blush garden roses, glass candelabras, and handmade Murano glass flowers.

The party didn’t stop there. After dinner, everyone headed to Chiesetta della Misericordia, a historic church that the couple transformed into a nightclub, by boat for the masquerade-themed after-party. While guests danced the night away, acrobats performed on a disco ball, the publication says.

This wedding is one of three for Michaels and Minuto. The couple hosted their first wedding on July 11, 2022, at a Miami courthouse. The service was a small affair with just a few of their friends and family and Michaels’ two children. Afterward, they eloped to Namibia, South Africa, for another private ceremony. Michaels told People that she shared heartfelt vows during their second wedding. “DeShanna Marie Michaels, it’s an honor and an adventure saying ‘I do’ to you,” Michaels said during her vows. “Finding you, my person, and eloping in Africa together has been one of the most magical and transformative chapters of my life.”

The Fitness App by Jillian Michaels creator first started dating Minuto in 2018. In November 2021, Michaels popped the questions with a seven-carat emerald-cut diamond ring, which was designed by a family friend at H&H Jewelers. She announced the news on Instagram, with the caption: "1153 days... here's to thousands more. She said 'yes' ❤️." At the time of her engagement, the trainer opened up to People about why she wanted to spend the rest of her life with Mintuo. “DeShanna is all the things: beautiful, smart, funny, creative, quirky, passionate,” Michaels gushed. “Those characteristics obviously attract you to someone, but it’s the quality of their character that makes you think, ‘Thank God for this person laying next to me,’ every night when you fall asleep.”
