Yes, that was “Despacito” on ice.
With the Olympics now allowing ice skaters to perform to music with lyrics, it was inevitable that someone would pirouette to “Despacito.”
And so the South Korean ice skating team, Yura Min and Alexander Gamelin — two skaters who were born in the United States, by the way — kicked off their routine with a slowed down version of Luis Fonsi and Daddy Yankee‘s hit song. The medley went on to include Mariah Carey‘s “My All” and Thalia‘s “Mujer Latina.”
