Austin Seferian-Jenkins maybe cut by Jaguars, team says no decision made

NFL: New England Patriots at Jacksonville Jaguars Reinhold Matay-USA TODAY Sports

The Jacksonville Jaguars have (seemingly?) released veteran tight end Austin Seferian-Jenkins after one lackluster season that included underwhelming results and some bad injury luck.

There was a lot of excitement for Seferian-Jenkins when he was signed but he appeared in just five games this year, catching 11 passes for 90 yards and one touchdown. Those are all career lows.

UPDATE:

The Jaguars have stated no decision has been made on Jenkins’ option.
