KAWASAKI ER-6f (2006-2007) Specs, Performance & Photos

The Kawasaki Ninja 650R was a standard motorcycle part of the Ninja family in Kawasaki's range. The bike was also known as the ER-6f of EX-6 and was manufactured from 2005 until 2017.

The motorcycle was powered by a parallel-twin engine and was developed for everyday use on paved roads and offered a modern style with modern features, a low seating position, and a low center of gravity.

The Kawasaki ER-6f had fitted standard features, such as a full fairing with a single headlight unit, a medium-sized windscreen, a one-piece dual seat with passenger grab rails, an under-engine exhaust system, and six-spoke lightweight aluminum wheels.

The bike was built on a diamond high-tensile steel frame, and the suspension system comprised a 41 mm telescopic fork on the front with 120 mm wheel travel and an adjustable single shock absorber on the rear with 130 mm wheel travel, delivering excellent suspension performance and handling.

The bike's wheels were fitted with two semi-floating 300 mm petal discs tied to dual-piston calipers on the front and a 220 mm petal disc with a single-piston caliper on the rear, offering excellent stopping power.

As for the power figures, the 2006 Kawasaki ER-6f had its heartbeat set by a 649cc four-stroke parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine that delivered 72 hp at 8,500 rpm and 66 Nm (49 lb-ft) torque at 7,000 rpm.
