NCAA Tournament Selection Sunday Show 2018: Open Thread

It’s time to learn where the Kentucky Wildcats are landing in the NCAA Tournament.

It’s finally arrived.

Selection Sunday is here, and with it comes the real start of March Madness.

This evening, we’ll learn the postseason fate of 68 teams looking to make this a March to remember. We’ll see who the top seeds are, where you favorite team is heading, or if they even made the field at all.

Several teams are right on the edge of missing or making the Big Dance, including some big-name programs like Oklahoma, Syracuse, Louisville and Texas among others.

Kentucky Wildcats fans already know their team is making the field of 68. Hopefully, they can beat the Tennessee Volunteers and move up a seed line when it’s all said and done, though if history is any indicator, Sunday’s SEC Championship has little effect on where SEC teams are seeded.

Still, today is a special day around the nation, and here’s how you can follow it all:

Selection Sunday Show 2018

Date: March 11, 2018

Start Time: 6 pm EST

TV: The Selection Show can be watched live on TBS. The entire 68-team field will be revealed at the start of the show, followed by the brackets for all four regions.

Announcers: Greg Gumbel and Ernie Johnson will handle the main reveal with Clark Kellogg, Seth Davis, Charles Barkley and Kenny Smith giving analysis.
