前庭と裏の畑を繋ぐ断面の検討。外的要因(町の中での存在感、威厳？)から決まったと思われる屋根のラインと、中の居心地や慣習的な寸法から決まったと思われる天井のラインの間に、実に巨大な空隙。ここのデザインが改修のポイントだと感じた。

模型とTHETA。同じ視点でぐるりと眺めると、生々しいモノの質感や迫力に圧倒される。「そんな簡単に壊していいの？」と、マテリアルが囁く。慌てて絵を上から描き足したりしながら、模型も修正を重ねていきます。

『農家住宅の不時着｜High Bridge Project』

北(左)から畑、住宅が2つ、庭、敷地内通路を挟んで倉庫が2つ、道側には曳家されてきた蔵もあります。
世帯構成も変化していき、かつては生活の中心であった農業との距離感も変わっている中で、どのように環境を住み継いでいけるか。
建築同士の関係や、建築と庭の関係、解体や改修や新築のバランスの検討から始めました。

The composition of the households is changing, and the distance from agriculture, which used to be the center of their lives, is also changing, so how can we continue to live in this environment?
We are beginning to examine the relationship between the buildings, the relationship between the buildings and the garden, and the balance between demolition, renovation, and new construction!

ロードサイドの風景の内側に農家集落の名残をもつエリア。土とアスファルトがせめぎ合う様子が空から伺える。
Driveways are overlaid on former farm settlements, and soil and asphalt compete for territory.
