Wonderful novelization of an excellent season!
Season 1 of Loki is probably my all-time favorite season of any show, and this novelization does not disappoint!! It's a very faithful adaptation of the series, geared towards younger readers (e.g., the champagne Loki drinks on the train is changed to sparkling water with lemon and cucumber), but it maintains all the drama, romance, action, and humor of the series. I especially loved Loki's snarky point of view. Some of his observances made me laugh out loud.Everything I loved about the series is in there, from TVA shenanigans to Loki's avuncular friendship with Mobius to his developing romantic relationship with Sylvie, whom he falls in love with through the book in a number of sweet, romantic passages. There were even some developments on fronts that were only hinted at in the series, like Mobius' crush on Ravonna. It was a joy reading about all the ways Loki grows and changes throughout the book, going from villain to hero and learning how to love.Overall, if you're a fan of the series, you'll really enjoy this book. Again, it's an extremely faithful adaptation of Season 1.

I saw a review about this product that said it was "disgusting. full of incest and transphobia." so I bought the book and had to see it for myself if their claim was true.

Imagine my surprise when I found out that the book didn't contain any of those things. There was zero mention/no suggestion of incest or transphobia in the book.

Instead, it was a well-written, well-thought out adaptation of the events that happened in Loki season 1. Hayley Chewins did an excellent job of fleshing out the characters we all know and love in season 1. The book gave a great insight about the character's thoughts and emotions and what motivated them to do the things they did in the show. It was like I was given a backstage pass into their minds and I was able to empathize with some of the characters from the show when I read the book.

The paperback quality was excellent too! Just as I expected from Scholastic Publishing!

Don't fall for reviews that says otherwise. This book is amazing and it's definitely a must read if you love Loki season 1!

This has got to be one of the best novels I have ever read in my life! If you put the first season of Loki into book form, this is what you would get. A carefully crafted masterpiece that replicates the magical enchantment of the show. I was entirely blown away with how good it is! I highly recommend buying this if you are a diehard Loki fan, or if you are a fan of a really amazing story full of adventure, mystery, and a multiverse shattering romance. I would definitely buy another copy of it!

I love how well written this book is, it's full of romance and very accurately represents the events of season 1 and also gives a good insight on character's emotions.
The quality of a print is nice as well.

The novel follows along with the story of the show, but it goes so much more in-depth regarding the characters' thoughts and feelings. It was such a good read, and I'll gladly read it again someday.

Loki is my favorite series, and Loki is my favorite character. I've watched the show religiously , like more than 50 times. Therefore, I can say without a question, that this is the BEST ADAPTATION WE COULD HAVE ASKED FOR.

Hayley did an excellent and amazing job portraying the characters' inner thoughts and deepening in their complexity. We are able to know more about them and what drives them to do the things they do.

One of the things I loved the most is how she portrays Mobius and Ravonna's relationship, showing us Mobius' real feelings towards her. It was so beautiful ❤️🥺

And what can I say of how Hayley wrote Loki and Sylvie's relationship? IT WAS PERFECT. THIS IS DEFINITELY A ROMANCE BOOK AND IT SHOWS HOW MUCH THEY BOTH LOVE EACH OTHER. 😍❤️🥺🥰

THIS BOOK IS NOW MY FAVORITE BOOK. IT WAS BEAUTIFUL, ANGSTY, FUNNY, PAINFUL, SWEET, ETC. 💚🖤
