Yucca San Angelo/Yucca reverchonii
Have had this little yucca for about 15 years and it has never done any growing, blooming or pupping. It gets all but late afternoon sun and is growing in calcareous material. Would be tempted to transplant it but have been thinking it's better to have an example that is doing poorly than a dead one. Questions are: is this indeed reverchonii? and are its cultural requirements different from what it's growing in now.

Re: Yucca San Angelo/Yucca reverchonii
Here is a yucca reverchonii which I obtained as a small offset in the Ozona TX area about 4 years ago. It has grown very aggressively since I put it in the ground. It is quite a beautiful species with good tolerance to cold and wet, it has never skipped a beat. From the mature ones I saw, the one in my photo seems to be about as large as it gets, however I believe some older ones did have short trunks. Yours is pretty small to identify since it looks like many other species when that size.

The leaves are slightly contorted and very narrow in comparison to yours. I suspect I may have something else as it should have grown in the 15 years that it's been in the ground at my place. Will try to remember to get a close up pic of the leaves to post.

Maybe a restricted growth Yucca Glauca? Given the conditions it’s in?

Am thinking a closer view will help. I don't think it has filifers. Got the plant from Larry Fagarason in Kerrville TX in the early or mid 000s.
