Focus on the individual

At 1722 Behavior and Consulting, each client receives programming unique to his, her, or their needs. We understand that the “cookie cutter” approach of discrete trial table work does not work for everyone, nor does it consistently generalize. We believe in creating carefully-contrived, naturalistic opportunities so the individual develops skills to apply to real-life situations.

Focus on the caregivers

1722 clinicians and behavior technicians work diligently during their sessions with our clients but we know that learning opportunities and challenging situations don’t end when we walk out the door. In addition to teaching a variety of skills and decreasing challenging behavior, our focus is to work with parents and other caregivers to support them in challenges they face in their day-to-day lives. The goal is to, not only reduce current challenges but, provide caregivers the knowledge to work through future situations confidently.

Focus on the community

1722 advocates for the education and use of applied behavior analysis beyond working with individuals with developmental disabilities. We offer professional development trainings to applied behavior analysis organizations with the opportunity to receive BACB accredited CEUs. We also provide trainings to other professionals to promote the use of strategies and increase successful outcomes.
