After collecting his first acting Oscar in 2020 for Quentin Tarantino’s “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood,” Pitt and his prodco saw 2020 Sundance winner “Minari” nab six nominations at the 2021 Oscars. Pitt also paired again with director Barry Jenkins (“Moonlight,” “Beale Street”) to produce Amazon’s “Underground Railroad” miniseries, which streamed in May, and is currently producing HBO Max’s upcoming “Americanah” series from “Black Panther” stars Lupita Nyong’o and Danai Gurira, as well as Netflix’s “The Three-Body Problem” from the co-creators of “Game of Thrones.” For 2022, he’s producing “She Said,” a film adaptation of the nonfiction book detailing The New York Times’ investigation of Harvey Weinstein, then will lead the cast of Sony’s “Bullet Train” and co-star with Margot Robbie for Damien Chazelle’s “Babylon.”
