Hardanger costume
Hardanger costume is a collective term for costumes from the different villages in Hardanger. There are slight variations from costume to costume. What appears here is a women’s costume from Kvam.

Hardangerコスチュームは、Hardangerの異なる村からのコスチュームのための総体的な語です。 ちょっとしたバリエーションがこの衣装にはあって、ここに取り上げたのはKvamの衣装です。

Hardanger is the name of the landscape along and around the Hardanger fjord in western Norway. The area starts in Kvinnherad in the west and follows the fjord all the way to the village Eidfjord in the east and south along Sørfjorden.

ハルダンゲルは、西ノルウェーのハルダンゲルフィヨルドに沿った周辺地域の名前です。地域は西にKvinnheradで始まって、S rfjordenに沿って東南のEidfjord村のフィヨルドに続きます。

The red part of the upper map is west Norway. And the Hardanger district of west Norway is a green part of the right map.

上の地図の赤い部分が西ノルウェーです。そして西ノルウェーのハルダンゲル地方は右の地図の緑の部分です。

Hardanger Embroidery is a type of whitework that takes its name from that region. It is made with geometric designs of kloster (blocks), “ships”, diamonds, and other embroidery techniques. It is worked on Hardanger or linen fabric which has a “count” of 22 to 29 threads per inch. Traditionally it is worked on white fabric with white cotton thread but in recent years other colors and threads are popular. Norwegian bunads (native costumes) from that region often feature this embroidery on the bottom of the white apron.

ハルダンゲル刺繍は、その地域の名前を冠した一種の工芸です。それは、kloster（ブロック）、「船」、ダイヤモンドその他の幾何学的なデザインで作られる刺繍で、麻地にインチ当たり２２ないし２９針を縫いこむものです。伝統的に、それは白い木綿糸で白いファブリックに刺繍するのが常でしたが近年では他の色と糸を使ったものも人気があります。ノルウェーのbunads（民族衣装）は、白いエプロンの下にしばしばこの刺繍を用いるのです。

Silver for women’s costume to be gilded. Male costume may be a mixture of white and gilt silver. Male costume may be a mixture of white and gilt silver.
Bringeduk and belt. There are many variations, embroidery, beads and woven. Only married women can use a silver belt.

上着は金の刺繍の上にシルバーのそれを合わせたものです。男性用は白と銀と金のミックスのようです。
Bringedukとベルト。多くのバリエーション、刺繍、ビーズと布があります。人妻だけは、銀のベルトを使うことができます。

West(waist?) is in the red or green clothing or brokadestoff with ullbånd or woven silk ties in various patterns.  Flat Folds stack is in the black woolen material, with several rows of velvet ribbon at the bottom.  Shirt to Hardanger costume is in cotton with kvitsaum or Hardangersaum sewn on linen with halslinning, cuff and front list, there are a wide variety of patterns.Apron is cotton with inset Hardangersaum sewn on linen. Belt and bring the cloth is pearls or embroidered with wool yarn. There is wide variety of patterns.  Capena is made in the same fabric as the skirt, with the same color on before that in the West.  It is used to gilded silver costume.

Westは服地は緑か赤で、またはあるいは、ullb ndまたは織られた絹による緑の衣類またはbrokadestoffはいろいろなパターンを結びつけます。 数列のビロードのリボンが底にあって、平らなフォールズスタックは、黒い羊毛の材料の中にあります。
Hardangerコスチュームへのシャツはhalslinningすること、カフと表のリストでリネンに縫い付けられるkvitsaumまたはHardangersaumで綿でできています、多種多様なパターンがあります。エプロンは、折り込みHardangersaumをリネンに縫い付ける綿です。

 布が真珠であるか、ウール糸で刺繍したことを持ってきてください。広い種類のパターンがあります。同じ色が西側のそれの前ににあって、Capenaはスカートと同じ構造で作られます。それが、金メッキした銀のコスチュームに使われます。
