I dont want to be that boy, but this is not a new species :( sorry followers and people here on tumblr.
This shark was recently presented as a ‘new’ species, discovered in the Philipines. It is however Hemitriakis complicofasciata, the ocellatecatshark
topeshark, documented for the first time in 2004.
Probably is new for Philippines, because it was discovered in Southern Japan. Also, isn’t a catsharks (family Scyliorhinidae) because this sharks belong to Triakidae family (commonly known as houndshark)
